Thomas Alleyne Relocation
Regarding the proposed relocation of the Thomas Alleyne School to Great Ashby
The Community Centre is the venue for a meeting on Tuesday 22 September 2009 at 7.30 p.m.
Following the exhibition of display panels at the Round Diamond School in July regarding the proposed relocation of the Thomas Alleyne School to Great Ashby, it was felt that only a small selection of Great Ashby residents were made aware of this. The Great Ashby Community Group (GACG) put pressure on Hertfordshire County Council (HCC) to extend the original deadline of 13 August for comments to be received, to a date after a public meeting on 22 September 2009.
This has been agreed and feedback from the public meeting will be taken into account in the consultation process.
Speakers will include HCC Officer – Building Schools for the Future Project Sponsor, Project Manager, Town Planning Consultant and Transport Consultant. There will be the opportunity for questions to be raised.
Display Panels will be on display at the Community Centre for a week leading up to 22 September 2009.
